^SSP volunteers run the ongoing events. We provide scorecards, we track your scores and provide updated handicap scores. We do all the work, all you have to do is show up and play disc golf. Our handicap system uses 80% of your average score - which levels the playing field and makes it much more fair for newer and recreational players to compete with advanced players. All SSP Ongoing Events are $5 to play - that includes $1 to the SSP General Fund, $1 to the SSP Competition Fund and $3 to the cash payout for that event. Non-members and non-current members please add $1. We also offer optional pools for $1 each - including Ace Fund available at both Doubles and Handicaps. There is also the Birdie Fund and Bogey-free Fund available at Handicaps. The pools cap at $250 at Lakeview Park, and cap at $500 at NWTP. |
